This Privacy Policy explains how RUNNR ("RUNNR," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, iOS app, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
RUNNR is an AI-powered running coach built around Apple Health. At launch, the iOS app requires Apple Health access so RUNNR can detect completed runs and adapt your training plan.
The current iOS app supports Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in. It does not use a standalone username/password account system.
With your permission, RUNNR reads data from Apple Health that is relevant to training, recovery, and workout detection. This may include:
If you choose to link a Google account for calendar features, we may access the information necessary to create workout events in your calendar and keep your training schedule aligned with your plan.
If you purchase a subscription through Apple, we may process subscription-related data such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, original transaction identifiers, receipt validation data, and subscription status.
If you allow notifications, we may store your notification permissions, Apple push token, and notification interaction data so we can send workout reminders and other app-related alerts.
We share information with trusted providers only as needed to operate RUNNR. Depending on the feature you use, this may include providers that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, Apple Health integration, subscription processing, notifications, Google Calendar integration, and AI-generated coaching features.
We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.
You can manage Apple Health permissions in the Health app and in iOS settings. Because the current iOS app relies on Apple Health to function as intended, removing Health access may limit or prevent core coaching features from working properly.
If you link Google for calendar features, you can relink or revoke that access through your Google account settings.
You can update certain profile information and preferences in the app settings.
To request access to your data, request an export, or request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@runnrapp.com.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need the information, we will delete or de-identify it as appropriate.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit access appropriately.
RUNNR is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@runnrapp.com.
RUNNR uses AI features to help generate coaching guidance, plan adjustments, and training-related responses. These features may use relevant account, training, and health-related context needed to produce useful output on your behalf.
We do not use your data to sell it to third parties, and we do not use your health data for advertising.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the website, in the app, or by other appropriate means.

Your trust matters to us. RUNNR exists to help you train better, not to exploit your data.
